Meet Our Founder
Daniella H. Omor (DHO) is a faith-rooted, trauma-informed therapist, mentor, and family restoration specialist whose work has helped hundreds of people and families move from pain to purpose.
As Founder of DHO Counselling & Family Therapy and La Cuisine Danielle Foundation, Daniella combines rigorous clinical training with pastoral sensitivity to create safe, practical spaces where healing, identity restoration, and lasting behavior change can happen. Her clinical approach blends evidence-based techniques; including: Trauma-Informed Care and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with scripture-centred inner healing practices.
Daniella is an internationally certified Marriage and Family Therapist, Trauma Recovery Therapist, and Psychotherapist. She also holds a Diploma in Psychology, a Certificate in Executive Coaching, and specialized trainings in marriage counselling and leadership development. Her practice is shaped by a lifelong commitment to Christ-centred service and a deep conviction that emotional healing is essential to fulfilling one’s God-given calling. In her private practice at DHO Counselling & Family Therapy, Daniella works with individuals, couples, families, and leaders particularly Africans at home and in the diaspora to address anxiety, PTSD/complex trauma, relationship breakdowns, parenting transitions, and burnout.
She leads multi-week clinical programs and signature year-long mentorships, facilitates healing communities and retreats, and equips pastoral teams, schools, and organisations to respond to mental health with wisdom and compassion. Her programs emphasize practical skills, spiritual formation, and sustainable behavior change so clients don’t just “feel better” — they live differently.
Daniella is also the founder and CEO of La Cuisine Danielle Foundation, a family-centred non-profit and behavior change platform focused on emotional healing, discipleship-centred leadership development, and community transformation that has reached over 50,000 people beyond 8 countries, with regions situated across 4 countries and cities that has directly impacted over 2,000 individuals, families and communities; The LCD Foundation is on a mission to empowering people and enabling families worldwide as a springboard to sustainable global development for kingdom advancement. She’s a presidential member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and has led healing and empowering community outreaches and trainings that have impacted thousands of lives. Daniella is joyfully married to Rev. Venture O. Omor (Jnr.) and is a mother of two.
